You and your crew did a wonderful job clearing and mulching at my place near McDade last winter.  The woods were very overgrown after decades of neglect.  In three days work, you and your crew removed a huge amount of brush and ‘fire ladders’, making a vast improvement for wildlife and fire safety.  You listened to my requests but made numerous suggestions how to improve the plans that I had made, with the result of more benefits for wildlife and more beauty to appreciate.  I was astonished how you guys could work fast and accomplish a lot with the big forestry mower, yet leave unscathed even small bushes we wanted to save.  You taught me a lot about taking care of the place and the new pathways and pocket meadows have been a joy for me and my family.  I’m looking forward to having you do more this year.  Let me mention that all our interactions were very professional, your team came when you said they would, and I can’t think of anything to complain about.  I recommended you to my neighbors and I’m happy to answer any questions about your work. Best regards, Dave Naumann Mc Dade, TX and Hoboken, NJ

We have been using Texas Natural / Trees Unlimited since 2015. Carl, Jose and Rocky do awesome work! They work very well together and are very sensitive to a landowners needs and wants, no matter how eclectic. We love to have them work for us. They even follow some of our weirdness. We want persimmon and Agarita plants left alone. They know we like old growth Cedar and all other trees are to be cared for. In our case, much of our land was hopelessly overgrown with cedar. Selective clearing has provided an AMAZING transformation of the area. The guys have made several trails for us providing access to land that was previously impassable. Opened up pastures to usable area for grazing. One area they call the football field. Their work has allowed us to enjoy our place even more! The last trip for them is a newer machine and seems do much more than the original machine of 2015. We love being allowed to work with them! Rocky has taught us ways to help work more efficiency. We are still learning things. We catch ourselves planning their next visit before they're done with the current one. We really look forward to them coming out and opening our place up for us to enjoy. We gladly give Texas Natural our highest recommendation! The Hotmann's Craig and Maryann

I would be happy to give you and your crew a positive review.  We got a lot accomplished last week and are glad to have the place opened up.  Now we can see and traverse our hillside property and creek bottom that was previously hidden and nearly inaccessible.  After thinning and mulching the cedars, we can get around and enjoy the natural beauty of the land, and appreciate the oaks, elm, pecan and other native tree species.  Looking forward to working with you again!

Carl seems to have an innate gift for seeing what the land needs. He and his crew not only transformed our property, but he educated us about how to care for the land ourselves. Our place has been "sculpted" by a true naturalist and professional. I can not say enough nice things about Carl and Natural Texas and would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to improve the look and the health of their property.

I am writing on behalf of Carl Brockman, who performed land clearing for Black-capped Vireo habitat restoration for Travis County in February 2004. Mr. Brockman proved to be very professional and demonstrated a great deal of expertise, care and concern during all phases of the project. His understanding of native vegetation and our ultimate goal was paramount in allowing him to often work unsupervised. I strongly recommend his services for habitat restoration or manipulation. If you require any further information. please call me.

Wow! Your work is absolutely beautiful. You and your crew have truly over-delivered. ln the coming weeks, l will get out to Camp Bowie to GPS the boundaries of your work to get a cost per acre estimate as reference for future contracts. We need your expertise, especially when conducting brush management in sensitive areas. Thank you so much for making this, one of my first completed contracts, a HUGE success.

Thank you so much for the terrific job that you and your crew did in clearing the trees around my house last week. Things look nicer now than they have in years. Next time I need some tree work! You are at the top of my list.

Carl, we want you to know how much we are enjoying the results of your crew's work. They were wonderful to work with and the end results were better than we hoped for. Again thank you.

Believe it or not, the clearing that you helped me with has been holding well. I have had it shredded a couple of times and the grass is really taking hold. Now have about 20 good sized pecan trees beginning to branch out as they now have access to sun and space. Looks like a well kept orchard. Thank you again for a great job and for staying in touch. May all your jobs turn out as well as mine did. Jim.

Dear Land Steward, We have utilized the services of Carl Brockman and his Natural Texas crew several times in the past (since 2016). Their most recent visit to our property was in May of 2019 and we highly recommend them to anyone. As we work to “restore, improve and preserve native habitat” for wildlife, Carl's selective approach to land clearing has provided us with truly remarkable results. For our purposes, the clearing and trail making process involves removing excessive yaupon in the understory of our wooded areas but yet leaving the more desirable flora that provides important wildlife habitat. The coarse mulch that is produced by the forestry machine helps to minimize soil erosion and then provides nutrients to the soil as it decomposes.  Carl has evidently passed along a great deal of his knowledge to his crew. After their initial visit several years ago and having seen the results of their work, we are confident in their ability to work independently of our direct supervision.
